Bachelor of Music - Jazz Saxophone Performance - University of Nevada Las Vegas (2010)
Master of Music Teaching - University of New England (2023)
Taylor attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), where he graduated with his Bachelor of Music in jazz saxophone performance. While in Las Vegas, Taylor performed regularly on the Las Vegas strip and surrounding areas for shows and events. Following UNLV, Taylor performed music and toured the world on cruise ships as a showband musician. This included performing in the pit nightly for main stage production shows/musicals as featured soloist, as well as performing music in many genres such as jazz, jazz fusion, classical, funk, rock, pop, soul, latin, r&b, blues and more.
After performing on cruise ships around the world, Taylor moved to Australia in 2013 where he quickly developed connections and has since established himself as one of the top saxophonists in Sydney. Taylor continued his study of music in Australia, and graduated from the University of New England (UNE) with his Master of Music Teaching in 2023.
