Welcome to TDC Music Studio - Music Lessons Page!

Hi there! I’m Taylor De Col and TDC Music Studio is my music school based in Leppington, NSW, Australia. I teach private lessons on saxophone, clarinet, and jazz improvisation. Private lessons are open to students in school year 3 or age 8 and above, including all levels from complete beginner to advanced. ALL styles of music are taught (jazz, classical, pop, etc). Online lessons through zoom also available worldwide.

At TDC Music Studio, all students are taught to read music, including notes, rhythm, music theory, and creativity and expression on their instrument. Music lessons are taught in and engaging and fun way, as well as catered to each individual student’s goals and needs. Students will receive a weekly practice guide, as well as check ins and progress reports throughout the year.

  • “Thank you so much for everything over the years. Harry has learnt so much from you and you have really helped him develop a genuine love for Jazz. From the beginning you have provided encouragement and guidance to Harry, with the artists you recommended to listen to,  musical choices and with the many opportunities you provided to Harry to solo. Harry has always felt privileged to be part of the workshops and you have been a real inspiration for him going forward. Both Harry and I wish you all the best with your future and I know we will cross musical paths again in the future.”

This is thanks to the program you've run in primary school!  Thanks for being such a fantastic teacher and wishing you all the best in the future.”

  • “I just wanted to say a huge thank you for introducing music into Elle’s life! Until February Elle had never played an instrument before and she has just loved every minute of learning the flute. Of course there is some talent/practise involved, but I put most of her drive down to the brilliant teaching and conductor work you have both provided her. I love classical music (having done AMEB exams myself) and Gavin loves jazz, so we both really enjoy listening to Elle play her band and exam pieces. And since we brought Elle her own flute, our house has turned into a marching solo band! I wish you all the very best and again thank you for being such wonderful teachers and having such a profound impact on the start of Elle’s music career!

  • “We are so sorry to see you go.  You have been an amazing Band Teacher/Program Manager/Conductor at BPS and will be sorely missed. Thank you for teaching both my boys Alexander and Samuel.  They have both thrived under your tuition and guidance.”
